This garden had a little bit of everything, and that’s exactly what made it so special. As experienced gardeners Yate UK homeowners trust, we were excited to bring together a mix of textures, levels, and finishes to create a space that’s both functional and full of character.

The journey begins with stunning Mint Fossil Riven slabs, laid to form a clean and elegant pathway that guides you through the garden. Their natural tones and textured surface add instant warmth and sophistication to the layout.

That path leads to a beautifully crafted sunken deck, designed for relaxation, dining, or simply enjoying the outdoors. The lowered level adds depth and interest, creating a cozy zone that feels tucked away yet fully connected to the rest of the garden.

To add structure and planting potential, we built a long raised planter along one edge. This feature gives the clients space to introduce colour and texture with shrubs, perennials, or seasonal blooms. It’s a simple addition that brings life and movement to the design.

The finishing touches included a fresh layer of Rolawn Medallion Turf, our go-to choice for premium lawns—and Polar White decorative stone to highlight borders and add contrast. The result is a garden that feels layered, inviting, and ready for everyday enjoyment.
